Today is the first national “Thank You Day” and we want to say an enormous, heartfelt ❤️THANK YOU❤️ to the truly amazing and incredible team on the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit that work so hard every day looking after all the children on PICU and bringing comfort and support to their families.

Thanks to a kind donation from the #VM02TogetherFund, we were able to show our appreciation to the staff on the unit today with a delicious Cream Tea to say thank you for everything they do. We’ll be bringing in more of these Cream Tea’s over the next few weeks so that all the PICU team can enjoy them!

We would also like to say ❤️THANK YOU❤️ to our wonderful team of volunteers at Friends of PICU who support the charity in so many ways. As soon as we are able to get together, we will be showing our appreciation and thanks for all they do, thanks to the #VM02TogetherFund.

Finally, we’d like to say a huge ❤️THANK YOU❤️ to you, our community of incredible supporters that enable Friends of PICU to do what we do. Whether you made a regular monthly or one-off donation, held a fundraising event, took part in a sponsored challenge, joined our Lottery or raised awareness of the charity by sharing our stories, thanks to you we have been able to continue to support the PICU Unit over the last 18 months during the pandemic.

The #VMO2TogetherFund was created to bring communities together and create positive change for good causes. 🙌 @VMO2 is bringing people together to help build a kinder, closer and more connected society.💙❤️

Thank you #VMO2TogetherFund for supporting Friends of PICU to say ❤️THANK YOU❤️ to everyone on PICU.
