What a fantastic day we had at our Charity Golf Day at South Winchester Golf Club on 7th July 2021, kindly sponsored by Matchtech. The weather was kind, the golf was great, spirits were high and despite the format of the day differing to usual to comply with Covid-19 guidance, everyone had a really enjoyable day!
We are absolutely thrilled to share that, after costs, the Golf Day raised a staggering £10,224.50 for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. This money will be spent on a variety of life saving equipment, staff training and providing additional extras that help families whilst their child is on PICU.
Twenty nine 4-ball teams joined us on the day enjoying breakfast, 18 holes of golf, a goody bag, lots of competitions around the course and a tasty lunch on their return to the clubhouse.
The winning team on the day was “The Slow Golfers” who each received a trophy and a Fortnum and Mason Hamper – many congratulations to you!
We would like to thank all the teams that joined us on the day for your support, and all the companies that supported this wonderful event by sponsoring a hole, donating to our Silent Auction and Raffle, or donating prizes for the winning teams and competitions.
