Soft Toy PICU Elephant
Friends of PICU donate to every child admitted to the PICU a soft elephant which is hoped will provide comfort and support. This is specifically designed and made for Friends of PICU as a unique item for unique people which the charity holds dearly.
Hospitals can be strange, startling, and upsetting places for children, and families. Hopefully having a soft elephant at their bedside can give reassurance to a child and their family at such a difficult time, and pass on a positive memory of the kind and caring thoughts that everyone has for the child and their family.
We are humbled by the kind words and photos we receive telling us about their child’s special Elephant, thank you.
We have been asked on many occasions if an extra elephant can be purchased for a sibling, friend, or other family member, so we created a ‘friend‘ to the PICU elephant, which is also soft and cuddly and we offer this item for purchasing in our shop.
