What a fantastic afternoon we had on Saturday 7th September 2024 for our Friends of PICU Family Fun Day! The weather certainly didn’t stop so many people coming along to support our charity – we are very grateful to everyone that came and we hope you had as much fun as we did!
We’re delighted to share that our Friends of PICU Family Fun Day raised an incredible ⭐ £6,691.92 ⭐ Thank you to everyone that helped us raise this truly wonderful amount of money for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit – this will help so many children, and their families, in PICU now and in the future.
Thank you to everyone that purchased tickets in advance or on the day for our Summer Grand Raffle. This was drawn and announced on the day, all the lucky winners have been contacted. Thank you to each and every business that donated the most fantastic prizes, and a special thank you to DESTY MARINE INTERNATIONAL for the donation of our 1st Prize of a Days Yacht Charter for 10 people – the lucky winner was over the moon!
Our Fun Day doesn’t happen without your support, and the help and support of so many people and businesses. We’d like to say a huge thank you to BARRATT HOMES for sponsoring the event, THE CLEVELAND BAY for allowing us to hold the event at the pub and providing the bouncy castle and children’s entertainer, OUTREACH RADIO for providing fabulous music and broadcasting live for the whole afternoon, GOLF CRAZINESS for bringing their fantastic golf course along, HASKINS GARDEN CENTRE, WEST END for joining us and bringing along seed planting activities for the children, Stuart and his team from ZURICH COMMUNITY TRUST for organising and running a number of fantastic stalls, games and the face painting, the PICU staff team for giving up their time to come and help, the PICU Retrieval Team for bringing along one of the charity funded PICU ambulances, and all the businesses and individuals that donated prizes for our raffle, and last, but by no means least, our fabulous team of volunteers and helpers without whom, days like this just wouldn’t be possible. Thank you all!
