The Seven Stars, part of the Hall and Woodhouse family, plan to support and fundraise for Friends of PICU and we have been discussing some very exciting events!
The Seven Stars, situated just outside Petersfield in the village of Stroud, is an idyllic, busy country pub that oozes traditional character and charm. Steve Young, General Manager at The Seven Stars, had a personal reason for wanting to support Friends of PICU and shared with us “I am absolutely delighted to be able to support Friends of PICU as a Charity Partner. My Son, William, was born in 2015 with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), undetected before birth. His life saving surgery was performed just 12 days later; a true miracle and I still struggle to comprehend how a little heart that small can undergo such a complex piece of surgery. Without the phenomenal surgery performed, and the amazing support and care from the PICU team, life, for my family, would be very different to what it is now. Thank you PICU – you changed my life!”
