We’d like to thank Steve and Tracy Joyce, and their children who signed up to do the “Advent-ure Run” in December and raise money for Friends of PICU as part of their challenge. This challenge saw them run every day of advent, including Christmas Day, running 230 miles between them.
Steve told us “Originally Tracy and I signed up to do it and then 2 of our sons thought it was also a good idea so they jumped on board. We decided to support the wonderful Friends of PICU charity that is so close to our hearts as the PICU ward cared for our son/brother during his short life. This is an amazing place and we can’t speak highly enough of the PICU ward and its staff for all the care and love they gave our son, Bo, and us as a family.“
Steve and Tracy originally set themselves a target of raising £500 during this challenge, but to date have absolutely smashed this by raising an incredible £2,480.00 with donations still coming in! Steve, Tracy and their family have been such fantastic supporters of Friends of PICU over the years and we really do appreciate their continued support.
