Kerry had a great afternoon with Cubitt & West Petersfield Branch at their Charity Day on Saturday, in aid of Friends of PICU!
Samara and her team organised a fabulous day of fundraising including a cake sale, a raffle with fantastic prizes donated from local businesses, a silent auction, guess the mascot name, guess the sweets in the jar, and a virtual cycle ride from Petersfield to the Isle of Wight representing the distance from their branch to their most southern branch. The all-female team, including our very own Ellie, cycled a whopping 65 miles in total between them – well done ladies!!
We were joined on the day by Jo from Shine Radio who heard about the Charity Day and came along to interview Samara and Kerry, to share the fundraising Cubitt & West are undertaking this year, and the work of Friends of PICU and the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Thanks to the hard work of the team, the support of the local businesses, and the support from the local community on the day, Samara and her team raised a fantastic £786.87 for Friends of PICU!! Thank you Samara, and your fabulous team, for organising such a fantastic day and raising such an incredible amount of money for Friends of PICU – we really do appreciate your support!
