Six abseilers take their fundraising to new heights for PICU.
Last Saturday 6 daring fundraisers took the leap of faith and abseiled over 320ft each, and had great views of Portsmouth, the harbour, and the Isle of Wight all to themselves whilst raising a fabulous total of £5,000 for PICU.
With the help of a well organised Spinnaker Tower team, abseilers Sally, Amy, Laura, Hanna, Lisa, and Charlotte were able to take on the challenge this year and together braved the heights and their nerves to scale 328 feet each, watched and cheered down by their proud families and friends.
Sally commented: “Despite the British weather, I thoroughly enjoyed it and have smashed my fundraising target, so I’m delighted!”

Hopefully now with their feet firmly back on solid ground they are all reflecting on their amazing achievement and the fabulous support they have given to critically ill children and their families.
