Apnoea alarm presentation

Ex-patient Rory Casey presents an Apnoea alarm to nurse Jo Palmer.

Grateful parents Paul Casey and Rachel Slade along with their son Rory, from Southampton, presented the Southampton General Hospital’s P.I.C.U unit with a life-saving piece of equipment on Thursday 4th December.

The Apnoea Alarm which is used to assess the breathing patterns of small babies on the unit once they have been taken off a ventilator machine, is being presented by the couple to say thank-you to the staff who cared for their son Rory.

BUPA Great South Run 2008

We've had 28 runners taking part in the Great South Run, raising much needed funds for Friends of PICU.

We've raised in excess of five thousand pounds already and not all money is in yet.

A huge thank you to all those who took part on our behalf and thanks to all those who were kind enough to sponsor them.

New York Marathon

Matthew had set himself a fund-raising target of £1500 but has exceed that and the total on his Just Giving Page stands at a staggering £1734.20. If you're able to help add to this total, he'd really appreciate it!!
